JACK ROWBERRY

A passionate musician since his earliest memories, Rowberry’s journey took flight in 2017 when his band secured coveted support slots alongside renowned acts like Ocean Colour Scene and Razorlight.  However, life’s unexpected turns led to a hiatus, which was further compounded by the disruptive impact of the global pandemic, halting the momentum that Rowberry and his band had been building.

 

 



CLAIRE HASTINGS

Folksinger, songwriter and ukulele player Claire Hastings has made a name for herself on the folk scene since winning BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2015. 

Originally from Dumfries and Galloway, Claire has toured extensively both as a solo artist and with her band, with standout performances including BBC’s Friday Night is Music Night alongside Lulu and Jamie Cullum, on BBC’s Hogmanay 2021 performing ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and as a soloist with the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Randers Chamber Orchestra and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, as well as numerous folk festival appearances. 

 

 



KATEE KROSS

Katee Kross' vocals can flip from breathtaking beautiful to hard hitting grit throughout her set and her charismatic, energetic and quiry stage presence will get any crowd in the party mood.

Based in Glasgow, Scotland - Katee Kross is a talented singer songwriter whose music can be best described as a blend of Country and Americana.

Coming from a small tight-knit musical family Katee's dreams and aspirations have always been fully supported. Her Dad, who is also a professional musician and one of her biggest influences, helped to show Katee the ropes from a very young age and instilled in her the benefits of hard work, passion and self belief. Being the youngest in her family Katee was often introduced to a wide range of genres such as Folk, Country, Roots, Rock and Americana. Which now helps to flavour her original and standalone material.

STEWART KELLY

Stewart Kelly is a Classical Guitar Recitalist who studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for over 7 years. During that time he received tuition from some of the best Classical Guitarists in the world. 

Stewart has recently toured all over Scotland including venues in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, The Isle of Skye, The Highlands and more. He will soon be playing as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in a solo recital and also with his duo partner Adam Brown.  He will be releasing a new album early 2025 named ‘To & From Scotland’. 

 

 



SOLEA

Solea Duo comprises of Gerry Magee and David Sim. Gerry and David both have backgrounds in various guitar styles ranging from Metal to Funk and have played all over the UK with top Artists. They formed their duo during Lockdown and are heavily influenced by Flamenco and Spanish styles  which has lead to compositions interspersed with catchy Melody’s and fiery scale playing.  

 

 

ALAN TRAIN

Alan Train is a singer songwriter hailing from Lanark. His interesting guitar parts and enchanting melodies always uplift audiences. He is a gifted slide guitarist and has a plethora of Country licks up his sleeve!

Round off the weekend with a Storyteller for all the family, awards for our young artists and our fabulous prize draw!



ALLISON GALBRAITH
Storyteller

Storytelling since 1992, and with a professional background in theatre, dance and education, Allison knows how to craft a good story for every occasion. Allison entertains and educates in equal measure from classroom and conference settings to festival, heritage and outdoor events.

Registered on the Scottish Storytelling Directory since 2007 and the Scottish Storytelling Forum Representative for Lanarkshire, Allison has performed at every major festival, including Celtic Connections, The Scottish International Storytelling Festival, Edinburgh Book Festival, Edinburgh & Glasgow Science Festivals, Kirkintilloch Canal Festival, and hundreds of different schools, libraries, arts, heritage, health and community celebrations throughout the UK.

Allison makes audience participation a regular feature of her storytelling. Her friendly and engaging style has made her popular at family and public events.
